Doing the Will of God

Posted by WOG Member on August 2, 2020 at 8:00 AM

Doing is action, and action is work; however, “faith without works is dead.” (James 2:20 KJV). In order to fulfill God’s will for your life you must DO it, in other words, “Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22 KJV). Never give up on completing God’s will even though it may be challenging at times, besides “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (Matthew 17:20 KJV).

The Bible characters featured in Will of God – The Movie exercised their faith to the fullest. Here are a few examples of how they used their faith.

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” (Hebrews 11:8-10 KJV).

By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.” (Hebrews 11:22 KJV).

By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.” (Hebrews 11:31).

Doing the will of God requires using all the faith that we’ve been given, because “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3 KJV).
